Summer Fun
Our backyard is the perfect oasis for my boys this summer. We had it completely fenced in and now they can run around as they please. Brad built a sandbox for the kids and we spend a lot of time running through the sprinkler and playing in the pool. Eli and Isaac's favorite pastimes include eating sand, drinking pool water, and pulling plants out of my garden. What could be more fun?
Jaron and Kaleb built a little volleyball net out of a couple of posts and a bungee cord. It was pretty inventive but the fun didn't last too long before they started fighting. I have a new appreciation for my parents and all the fighting they endured while we were growing up. My kids spend at least as much time fighting as they do playing, if not more.

I just put summer with fighting together. I get tired at the end of the day with just the things I break up during the day. The boys usually get along pretty well, it is Lexie who causes all the drama.

What was that you were saying about your boys having a bad childhood? It doesn't look so bad to me. Oh that I could be that picked on.
Fighting is just a part of learning how to grow up. So when Damon picks a fight with me and I don't bite my tongue I realize I still have a ways to go. I want to see a picture of your dog.
