Brad and Kaleb's birthdays are about a week apart so we have done a lot of celebrating this month. We planned to do outdoor things for Brad's birthday but because of the rain it turned out to be fairly uneventful. We did end up with a bonfire on his cake. It took two of us to light his candles and we still ended up eating a lot of wax. I'm just glad that even though he is an old man I will never be as old as he is.
We celebrated Kaleb's birthday with a Movie Party. We tried to create a Movie theatre atmosphere.
The boys each had twenty dollars of Monopoly money and they had to purchase a ticket and treats.
Brad was the ticket master. He did a great job of promoting the movie while he was selling tickets.
We had a concessions stand full of yummy treats! I think the kids really got a kick out of picking and purchasing their very own treats.
I fell behind on my breakfast in bed duty this year so Jaron jumped right in and made a yummy breakfast for his brother. I think he had a good birthday.
Kaleb is now a very mature 9. I can't believe he's that old already. Time flies when your having fun!
