My niece Nyah had a her first birthday a couple of weeks ago. Alyssum and I got together to make a princess castle cake for her. I accidentally put too much pink dye in the frosting so we called it the pepto cake, but it turned out really cute anyway. We had a great time together. I love spending time with my sisters.

Nyah really needed a nap but she was so excited about being in a new place that she couldn't bring herself to take a nap. She was so tired that she snuggled up on the kitchen floor.

Nyah was grabbing cheerios off the floor and when she sat up she was caged under the stool. She couldn't figure out how to get out. Most kids would scream, but Nyah just looked distressed. It was really cute!
